The Traxtion hexagonal polypectomy snare is ideal for en bloc resection of flat or sessile lesions. The stiff, braided hexagonal wire snare provides exceptional grip of the mucosa and retains its shape with multiple resections.
How the Traxtion Snare Works
The Traxtion hexagonal polypectomy snare is intended to be used with diathermic energy for the endoscopic removal of polyps in the gastrointestinal tract.
Many snares tend to slip off of flat lesions and require repeated placement of the snare to complete the resection. The Traxtion snare can effectively grip mucosa without compromising technique. This hexagonal polypectomy snare is 25mm wide by 40mm long, allowing for greater control of different polyp sizes.
