The Short Featherweight Leg Section improves caregiver ergonomics and operating room (OR) workflow efficiency for surgical staff during many surgical procedures. Due to its length of 18 inches, there is no need to detach and reattach the compact surgical leg section during a procedure. The leg section can remain attached to the surgical table throughout the procedure.
How the Short Featherweight Leg Section Works
Weighing only 11-lbs., the Short Featherweight Leg Section improves OR efficiency and ergonomic working conditions for surgical staff and exceeds Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) weight guidelines for repeating lifting in the OR. With the surgical table leg section remaining attached during the procedure, surgical staff can articulate the leg section down to -105° and achieve low table height to accommodate a wide range of patient positioning options, surgeon heights, and seated procedures.
