The Weightless Shoulder Suspension System is a shoulder traction device for shoulder arthroscopy in lateral position. Requires Autoclavable Clamp (BF53) or similar.
How the Weightless Shoulder Suspension System Works
The Weightless Shoulder Suspension System allows for approximate traction settings up to 40 lbs. (18.2 kg) with the simple turn of the adjustment knob. Boom arm adjusts from 0° to 90°. The boom head swivels so that its pulley always aligns properly with the cord. Please note: The arm trap disposable is not offered.
Why the Weightless Shoulder Suspension System?
As an alternative to Beach Chair or Fowler's Position, the Weightless Shoulder Suspension System enables shoulder arthroscopy in the lateral position. Lightweight system folds down for easy storage. Patient weight capacity is 500 lbs. Compatible with all STERIS Surgical Tables.
