The intuitive Universal Hand Control 2.0 for the STERIS Surgical Tables puts patient positioning at your fingertips. With a durable and lightweight construction for easy handling and dependable performance, this surgical table hand control offers new features like color-scheming the most often used buttons and a detachable cable for easy replacement.

How the Universal Hand Control 2.0 Works

With an ergonomic design and easy-to-read LCD display, the Universal Hand Control 2.0 communicates instantaneous table positioning data without lifting the sterile drape. Anti-collision safeguards are also in place to protect the surgical table from self-damage. The LCD window provides instant, visual feedback on positioning and diagnostic information. The backlit table commands are responsive with one-touch patient posturing. This model hand control is backwards compatible with all sliding-top STERIS operating tables.

Why the Universal Hand Control 2.0?

  • Dedicated buttons – Offer instant access to smooth sectional articulation, return-to-level, floor lock activation and patient positioning (Trendelenburg, height, tilt, level and stop)
  • Colored buttons – Offer quick and confident identification of the most frequently used functions
  • Impact resistance – With improved LCD Screen covering and internal foam padding to resist damage from drops and being crushed
  • LCD – Provides information on basic patient status and potential table section interference through the auto limit sensor function and service diagnostics
  • Backlit screen – For clear viewing in darkened Operating Rooms
  • Auto-collision sensors – Will stop sectional collisions and suggest an alternative articulation
